I had to replace the entire AC system in my house after my old tired system finally kicked the bucket. After much consideration I chose Morehart for the job. I couldn’t be happier with the level of service and professionalism I received with my new AC install and follow up check. After my system was installed, the techs walked me through every step of the process and setup/explained my new wi/fi thermostat to me. The next day I got a phone call asking how everything was working. They scheduled a follow up visit to make sure everything was working as it should. Morehart AC tech Brian showed up at my house for a follow up visit and did a very thorough inspection and reassured me that everything was good to go. This is a top notch company that takes pride in how they treat their customers. When you compare price service and quality, look no further because Morehart AC is at the top of the list.

We thought we had a leaking condenser and there was lots of water all over the garage floor. The first company I called was three hours late, and they recommended that we spend $2400 to replace what they said was a leaking condenser coil. I did not feel right about what they told me since they had not even taken the condenser out and there wasn’t any ice-over on the coils, so instead I called Morehart Air Conditioning so I could get a blind second opinion.

Morehart was here in less than 40 minutes from the time I placed the call. Once their technician showed up he was quick to let me know that he thought it was just a clogged PVC pipe on the pan that normally drained the condensation. Sure enough, after using a CO2 cartridge to blow out the line the water flowed right on out of there and there was no further problem. For just under $150, the so-called $2400 replacement of the condenser unit was resolved.

Sure – there may not be any “Melvins” on the other people’s job, but apparently they are paying for those expensive commercials with the money they take from people who don’t need what they’re selling us. Not so with Morehart. Do yourselves a favor, and call these guys first. You could save thousands of dollars, and a lot of aggravation!

Oh – and yes, the technician who came out was Tom. I suspect he is the same Tom that someone else left a negative review for. I can tell you from firsthand experience that Tom is a professional, top notch, sincere and knowledgeable guy and he was very easy to talk to. He explained everything to me as he did it, and showed me so that I understood everything. There were no communication difficulties, and I trust him and this company FAR beyond the “big guys” who send out G-d knows who to work on your unit.

After “winning” two free AC service visits from a *different* company, their tech recommended $700 in urgent repairs, threatening that my AC could shut down any second without the fixes. The whole thing felt sketchy to me (how did I even win this?!), so after getting a referral from a family member, I called Morehart.

I first have to say …. TOM IS WONDERFUL! As I explained the situation over the phone, and read him the measurements provided by the other tech (only after I demanded that he give them to me), Tom advised that he was really doubtful the repairs were actually needed. I scheduled a service visit so he could come do a thorough check and confirm his suspicions.

Tom arrived promptly, and was extremely kind, courteous and conscientious. He explained everything thoroughly in ways I could understand, and without making me feel like a moron ((ahem– last tech)). Not only did he confirm that the $700 in “urgent” repairs were NOT needed, but he found a smaller repair that was actually needed … apparently the other company’s tech was too busy inventing expensive, fake issues to catch any real problems.

In addition to this fix, our exterior AC unit is now quieter and fully cleaned, the loud rattle in the attic unit is now gone completely, and I have confidence there are no leaks in the attic ductwork. All for $500 less than the other schmucks.

The singularly nicest service/repair company I’ve delt with in years!

The day of my appointment, I received a call from Tom Greene in the early afternoon telling me that he was running ahead of schedule and if I wanted him to come early he could- or he could wait till my allotted appointment window of three to five pm. (Of course I let him come over hours early!)

Tom was polite, professional and quickly took a look at the A/C unit. He diagnosed the problem, said he’d have it fixed in a few minutes and took the time to explain to me what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. Once it was up and running again, he waited until the machine “warmed up” so that he could make sure that it was working 100%, it was blowing cold enough and that there were no other problems. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

If I was in my early to mid-twenties, and single I’d have tried to convince Tom to run away with me right then and there. (Sorry, Honey.) He was seriously that great.

I’m new to this state so I don’t have much experience with A/C repair companies but from what I have heard from others its never really a GOOD experience. Mine was. We will be leaving this rental home to purchase shortly and I can honestly say that Tom from Morehart is the only person I’ll be calling if there is a problem with our heating and air conditioning.
